Webcasting offers a new level of usability and functionality on the Web by allowing users to view media programs over the Internet. Webcasting brings together rich-media, real-time, fast delivery and, best of all, convenience. Webcasting has already made a profound impact on the Internet landscape, and it is estimated that that 89 percent of Web sites will have "streaming" offerings within the next two years. Web Zeit has significant experience in this new medium from shooting and editing to encoding and broadcasting both live and archived Webcasts. We have conceptualized and implemented Webcasts for a range of clients, from global companies to smaller not-for-profit organizations. The costs are low, the benefits great. We have designed, built and tailored various user interfaces, live chat rooms, and other functionalities to compliment Webcast events and streaming videos. We have developed both live and archived webcasts for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, making annual conferences and meetings available immediately to a global audience. Recently we shot, edited and produced a three-part seminar series for an international corporate staffing firm. Webcasting can be used for company news, confereneces, financial reports, corporate announcements, arts and entertainment, education and so much more. We are finding that Webcasts are valuable as live presentations, perhaps the fastest way to share multimedia with a dispersed or global audience, as well as archived resources, allowing organizations to edit and store archived versions of conferences, presentations or live events.
