Web Zeit creates intranets that increase productivity, add value and cut costs. Our intranets transparently deliver diverse informational resources to individual desktops with minimal cost, time and effort. We determine the right tools, test technologies and train intranet content providers and users. We integrate with existing intranet and extranet environments, Lotus Notes and legacy databases. Our intranet consulting and development is based on a tested process that assesses an organization's needs, determines technology requirements and produces an effective collaborative internal network.
Objectives: We work with each organization to determine needs and map out strategy and measurable objectives for each phase of intranet deployment. Strategy: We develop intranet strategies that integrate existing information systems in scaleable intranet environments, using the right tools and technologies. Technology Checklist: Our technology checklist provides a first step towards recommending and instituting pilot and long-term intranet solutions (including network, nodes, server, clients, security and email applications). Recommendations: We present intranet concepts and work with the enterprise to determine tools, requirements and standards. We create business plans, budgets and draft network maps and make demos to demonstrate strategy, feasibility and usefulness. Pilot: We create pilot intranets to test content and technology, train users and develop models for full-scale iterative roll-out. Implementation: We implement hardware and software solutions and conduct employee training sessions and seminars. Testing: We help organizations test platforms, tools, hardware, software and delivery of content. Review: We review intranet strategy, tactics and tools and help organizations with additional iterations.
