Case Study: Deloitte Consulting Internet Strategy
SITUATION
Web Zeit worked extensively with Deloitte Consulting, one of the world's leading
e-business consulting firms, to transform the company's Web site and clients'
experiences via the Web site. Web Zeit developed strategy that encompasses
vision, business strategy and positioning, as well as writing a plan for
implementing specific design, content, technology and marketing changes.
OBJECTIVES
Web Zeit worked with Deloitte Consulting to implement a fast strategy aimed at reaching business objectives
via a logical, scalable, phased approach. Those business objectives include
differentiating and promoting the firm, building an interactive, e-commerce
enabled Web platform and generating new business and media attention.
APPROACH
The Web Zeit strategy approach created a map of the site's audience
types, from first time "browse" users to frequent visitor "repeat" users.
Our strategy plan articulates ways in which to communicate better with
each audience, as well as efficient ways to interact with international
visitors. The plan also points to content and graphic refinements, as
well as marketing initiatives, which will position the firm and site and
create a more powerful, truly global online presence. Our technology blueprint
includes a content management system, offline database, customized entry
pages, as well as dynamic and interactive programming.

RESULTS
Our consulting engagement led to revised presentations of the company's services and contacts. With better differentiation between new visitors and existing clients the site is able to map to different user types more effectively, and the firm is better able to handle incoming queries, at no additional cost. Technology and navigation enhancements included archiving webcasts, building research briefs and highlights, and creating industry focused links.
